Tour Outsider: Northern Trust Open

The US PGA Tour stays in California this week to play the Northern Trust Open.

Let's look at the Golf CLi and see who the top 15 players are for the tournament ranked by the CLi figure.

The top 4 players in the CLi rankings all have CLi figures below 10, so will go with them. Then will go further down the list and pick Harrington, as I need a player that will make the cut first and then place well second (i.e. a player that is almost guaranteed to make the cut and earn a paycheck this week).

    You will see more detail about the Golf CLi and what variables are used. As for what figures I put in each field for a specific tournament, that depends each week based upon what I think the weights should be.
