Tour Outsider: Wachovia Championship

Back to the east coast we go. This week the US PGA Tour is in North Carolina for the Wachovia Championship.

Let's look at the Golf CLi and see who the top 15 players are for the tournament ranked by the CLi figure.

Wow, there are 6 players with CLis less than 10. All but one of them are experienced players. Kim is the only player in that group of 6 without a win. With Quail Hollow being a difficult course, I am going to go with the more experienced players, and so will leave Kim out of the picks this week.

Tour Outsider: EDS Byron Nelson Championship Review

It is now time to review the picks for the EDS Byron Nelson Championship to see how the results turned out.

Have a winner this week in Scott, along with two other players that placed in the top twenty: Donald and Baird. That is good to see.

The negative for this week is having two players miss the cut: Immelman and Campbell. It looked like Immelman was burned out after all of his activities after winning The Masters two weeks ago.

This week the US PGA Tour heads to the Lone Star Sate (Texas) to play the EDS Byron Nelson Championship.

Tour Outsider: Verizon Heritage Review

It is now time to review the picks for the Verizon Heritage to see how the results turned out.

The top 3 picks did very well, as all of them placed in the top 7. I missed two things: 1) picking the winner (Boo Weekley was the ultimate winner, and Shedloski picked him), and 2) having all 5 of my picks make the cut (had two players miss the cut in O'Hair and Campbell).

This tournament overall won by the Tour Insider with a clean sweep of 3 categories.

If I am going to lose, this was a good way to do it. Shedloski picked a winner in Boo, and I had some good picks with 3 of my players in the top 7. This week showed some good competition in regards to picks for the tournament.

This week the US PGA Tour gets back to the regular tournament schedule and heads to the oceans side to play the Verizon Heritage.
